What matters on this route

The direct Eurostar to Amsterdam Centraal takes around four hours and lands you in the middle of the city. There are only a few direct trains a day; a change in Brussels opens up more times and adds around an hour.

Flights are frequent from every London airport and the flight itself is about an hour, but Schiphol is a large airport and the London end adds ninety minutes, so the door-to-door difference against the train is small. The train usually wins on comfort and on carbon by a wide margin.

Coaches run overnight and take ten to twelve hours. Cheap, and you arrive early in the morning.
